Not something I've ever had to worry about although the weather has been very weird this year and they've been popping up in odd places. Wouldn't know what to do in a hurricane either. They test it every Saturday at noon. Creeped Chris out the first time he heard it. We had a tornado come through back in the very early 80's. I can't say that I remember the siren going off.
