When I read your question about what kind of kid can’t get into USC, I was confused. Out here, USC is University of Southern California… 🙂
thank god for President Sorensen – Spurrier turns my stomach…I can’t believe it’s already time for another year of his thuggish football team and his puffed up rants….the story yesterday was ludicrous…how dare his athletes be held to the same standards as other incoming students, especially when there are other Universities he could go to where their priorities are in order…1. Football 2. Football 3. Everything else….I’ve yet to hear Sorensen respond though….maybe they can arm wrestle to settle it
Come on now, lee, he didn’t say that. I’m certainly not a big USC fan, but what he said was he needed to know earlier what the standards will be so when he recruits a kid, he won’t promise him a scholarship and then have to back out of it.
don’t you think he should know what the university’s standards are prior to making offers? I get the impression he would like to operates more as a free agent on these deals while the university as a whole is trying very hard to be more than a sports university…I think we agree, I just hate him more 😉
