I was going to log off without blogging over here today. Nothing really caught my eye or lured me away from a very, very full day of work. Them’s the breaks and it’s not like I’m participating in NaBloPoMo or even if I was, it’s not November. So yea. I was going to blow off blogging. No big deal, I do it often. But then, 30 items away from closing my feedreader for the night – what do I see? The perfect topic for me to blog about.
Could Your Partner Do Your Job?
Perfect, right? So perfect. But damn. I don’t think I can actually blog it without ticking someone off. While some of you might think that I never worry about that, I do. There are a million things I don’t blog for that very reason. Since I can’t blog about whether or not my partner can do my job… how about a list of all of the things I can’t blog about? Or some of the things I can’t blog about.
1) My mother’s ability to tick off certain of my siblings.
2) My mother’s general inability to tick me off – til today when she suggested I was menopausal. (bitch.)
3) The hysterical thing a kid said last night, without prompting.
4) The really dumb thing Michelle said a couple of days ago.
5) The really dumb things Christopher says several times a week.
6) Speaking of Christopher, I’d love to blog a comparison of all of his g/f’s.
7) Jenn and her, ummm, life. (she’s blonde – brilliant but also blonde.)
8) My ex husband and his, errrr, life?
9) My ex job, ex boss, ex co-workers.
10) Sex, sex and more sex – or lack of.
How’s that for a list of things I don’t blog?
I really do wish I could blog about whether or not my partner can do my job. ‘Cause it would be an awesome blog post. Hmmm, password protection might be in order here. What do you think?
That is amusing… and yep, I get why you don’t blog about those things (although now I want to know what the hysterical/dumb things are that the kids say).
and I want to know about ex-coworkers I bet you could write a book 🙂
Do it!
Most of my family doesn’t even know I have a blog. A couple of them read it from time to time, but the other few who know are remarkably disinterested. Good for me – I cna blog about them if I want. 😀
