Last week I sent Luna Pads to Zimbabwe and the next donation I’m sending is to the Fistula Foundation. We hear an awful lot of about female genital mutilation but not so much about menstrual hygiene or fistulas.
Now someone find me an organization that is working on ending unsafe abortions in Africa, please. I’ll happily add it to my charitable contributions list.

Does Ipas work in Africa? I don’t really know much about them but I think they work in Africa. You’d have to do your research. 😉
you’re amazing!
Hmmm @ Ipas, monkey. I don’t know, I’ll find out.
Jess – you’re amazing too! Save your wrists, just copy/paste “awesome” in the future. 😉
Yet another common interest (the fistula foundation, genital mutilation, unsafe abortions in Africa).
Thank you so much for the Luna Pads link (I’ve had the fistula foundation for a couple of years); I’ll be making my own donation to that one soon. What a simple and worthwhile cause!
found 2 articles about it with a few links..
