Are you a Pro Blogger? Heh. I am a serious amateur. Imagine that. Give me six months and I’ll have been able to purchase more than coffee with my earnings (but I’ll still just purchase coffee with my earnings, because that’s the extravagant sort of woman I am) – and I really should move these things to my own server, shouldn’t I? Nah, I like Typepad well enough. Maybe when I do that whole lesbian sex blog thing, then I’ll need wordpress on a server, won’t I? Heh.

That would be sweet for you to go pro. I’ve been thinking about it too…it would be awesome to be able to build my blog to a money-making level in time for the start of grad school–working on my own schedule would be great. Are you signing up for BlogHerAds? I have had a real writing block over there lately. Even though the site is open to all women, it seems like a lot of the “power players” are parenting bloggers. And well, me writing about cancer and being widowed doesn’t fit. The only post that I’ve written there that got any kind of response was the Abraham Cherrix post…that tied in with parental rights vs state rights. I don’t know if I fit there or not. Do you ever feel that way?
Amanda – I’m going to email you, ok? This goes way too deep for a blog comment to handle. 😉
*giggle* I managed to score 1 out of 40 points. I’m a hobby blogger. Works for me.
Good luck becoming a pro. I have no doubt you could do it.
I’m a serious amateur too. I think I probably got bonus points for having my blog on one of our servers. We have three servers, but certainly not for our blogs. It would be cool to make money from my blog, but I don’t have any big blog aspirations.
I lost points for not having my blogs on my server. I should get bonus points though for providing my daughter with her own server for a blog, right?
I don’t have huge blog aspirations either, really. Not money-wise. But I am making some small bits of money from blogging, which is good.
