Susie Bright linked to The 25 Sexiest Novels Ever Written and has posted some interesting comments and ideas of her own. This topic is giving me a good reason to avoid the non-fiction I’m still avoiding – I’m trying to think of my own list of 25 Sexiest Novels…. I feel like “pure erotica” isn’t going to come close to making it onto my list.
What would make your list? Do you like Susie’s ideas? Agree with the books in the article? Is it wrong to think about sexy novels on Memorial Day?

I’ve only read two on the list – Forever and Interview with a Vampire.
I don’t remember Forever being especially sexy. My first thought, when I saw it on the list, was My Darling My Hamburger was sexier, lol. I think the real problem is, umm, I’m not a huge Judy Blume fan.
Anything NOT mentioned that you think should be mentioned?
I really don’t know. I had a hard time thinking of any books that I would call sexy. The one that I did think of before I saw the list was Forever (I haven’t read the Hamburger book, it’s on my list).
I remember Forever because it was the first book that I ever read that was for teens that talked about sex in a way that was at all “realistic”. Maybe My Darling, My Hamburger is sexier but maybe a lot more teen girls read Forever? I know I remember it being mentioned in other books too (Hmm maybe even in In My Shoes???).
