My friend Katie asked about author blogs for her library blog – so here’s the list of author blogs I read or have read in the past.
- Rick Riordan
- Poppy Z Brite
- Jennifer Weiner
- Christopher Moore (though it isn’t a real blog lol)
- Elaine Magee (cookbook authors count, right?)
- Chris Bohjalian
- John Grogan
- Pamie
Here are some others – which are your favorites?
Wow, you did my research for me! what a friend!
I loved Christopher Moore’s take on it:

Heh, well the dude is funny and I love him but using a message board to blog is a bad idea. He’s losing readers because there’s no RSS. And, as you and I know, it’s easy to blog on good software or even decent software. I blame is IT guy too, for being too lazy to set him up with a real blog.
That velcro shoe thing, I need to show that to some little kids. Two of whom argued with me that tying shoes was an unnecessary skill and so they did not need to learn how to do it. lol
I like Meg Cabots blog. She makes me laugh.

(There is an RSS feed but you have to dig around the site a bit to find it.)
Also Ami McKay (the author of the Birth House)

I like Malcolm Gladwell’s blog. That’s interesting, but too intellectual for me to weigh in on it. I also used to read the Lipstick Chronicles which is a cooperative blog with 4 women authors trading out blogging duties.
Heh, I knew you would post Meg’s blog so I didn’t do it – since I stuck with blogs I read or have read. 😉
Hmm @ Gladwell’s blog, I don’t think I have ever looked at it but I should.
I peek at the lipstick chronicles sometimes ’cause they use blogmad or one of those blog traffic sites, but I don’t really read it, ya know?
