That “letter to my body” brought tears to my eyes. I wanted so badly to help her, you know? I guess I’m naive. Obviously I can’t help her. But I wanted to. It also made me angry because I don’t think a man would have written something like that – I don’t think society’s expectations regarding physical appearance could ever make a man hate himself like she does.
