We grabbed subs and ice cream at Tony’s Subs in Deerpark and then drove over to Wheeling to visit the Dam #1 Woods.
If you have children of a certain age, then you know this led to many many uses of the word “dam” and much giggling. We brought home a dam beetle and it pooped, dam it and there was a lot of dam trash and we could go on and on (and we did) but now I’m done with dam. Unfortunately, others around here are still going strong, dam it.
We entered Dam #1 Woods west and I think maybe we should have entered at at the east. We’ll try that the next time we need some dam fun.
Dam that sounds fun. Sorry I missed it, dam it.
Is that child laughing her head off…..dam ‘tootin….
You guys are way-cool parents. If I’d said all those “dams” as a child (even in jest)? My mom and dad might have tolerated it once or twice, but in their ultra-religiousness they would have quieted me with an admonishment. I’m quite certain! 🙂
LOL. This reminds me of my childhood. One of the main streets in a nearby city was called San Pablo Dam Road and I could never bring myself to say it, I use to just say “that” road, haha. To make matters worse, there was a hamburger place called Dam Big Burgers, hahaha.
