Daily Dose of Life – Plans Update

It’s been a month since I created my 101 Things to do in 1001 Days list and I’ve actually stuck with it.  The list is often in the back of my mind when I’m thinking about my day or creating that little "mental to do" list every morning.  Weird.

If you click the link, you’ll see that not much has been completely crossed off but some items have little numbers next to them that indicate progress.  There are other areas where I almost hit the complete goal but didn’t quite make it.

Take the #40.  We’ve only eaten out or ordered food 4 times, I think.  Pizza, McAllister’s,  food at the Medieval Faire last weekend and an after church visit to the Picadilly once.  That’s a huge change for us.  I mean HUGE.  I could probably scratch that off the list and call it done, but I won’t because I think we can manage a full month at some point in the next 969 days.  Maybe.

Progress has been made on the clean sweep pile, but it’s slow slow going.

So there’s the update.  Having this list hasn’t killed me and it hasn’t forced me into the bedroom afraid to face the world either.  I think I’ll keep it.  Let’s see what progress I make in February – Anyone care to place a bet as to how I do?  What I can scratch off?  What I can update?

  1. Well with Blogher I’m guessing that you’ll update your blogroll.

With the meal planning you’re working on the recipe book with Michelle right?

I meant to ask you this before – why are you so determined to read the stupid Moonstone? lol

  2. Yep blogroll will be updated again this week and hopefully weekly in honor of blogher.

We haven’t really talked about the recipe book but that’s part of the plan. 😉

My mother. It’s mom guilt. Some things just have to be done for your mom, ya know?

  3. I figured it was mom guilt. I guess if I could read The Domestication of Europe for my Archaeological Theory seminar you can read The Moonstone for your mom. Why the comparison? Because I ended up throwing both The Domestication of Europe and The Moonstone across the room because they frustrated me. 😉 BUT I didn’t have to finish The Moonstone. lol

  4. Denise voice is not required. The Europe book was just a photocopy (bookstore couldn’t get enough copies in on time) and I’d never seriously abuse a book so The Moonstore was techincally thrown into an armchair.

  5. You have me? (am I the Bethy you’re talking about?) (number 17, my birthdate btw) on your 101 things to do in 1001 days list?

LOL, I was shocked and you want to have fun all day? LOL. Cool!
