For the last two weekends we’ve been busy little bees, here at the Flamingo House. TW and I have been cleaning under beds, cleaning out closets, cleaning off shelves and just generally de-cluttering. Four bedrooms are finished, living room and dining room are finished. We still need to deal with the office aka library and the garage.
This photo is full of stuff from our house, it’s not trash (that would be another photo which I’m not going to take) but it is junk. Fun junk, but junk just the same. Most of which I just shake my head at and wonder "What is this doing in my house".

I vote for calling one of those companies/charities that come and pick up all your “junk”. Think how good it would feel to see all that stuff going out your door to never return?
We may do that, but I’m still leaning toward yardsale for about 470 reasons.
I go for yard sale too. in fact, Im thinking we need to have one here at our apartment building. get all the apartments together and have it.
what would use the proceeds for if you don’t mind me asking?
Extravagant things like food, clothing and shelter.
LOL, I still have all the boxes to take to the auction that we culled out a few weeks back…

I cleaned the living room floor three days ago, yet this monstrosity was lurking in the corners & under the tables. The weather has gotten warmer in the last few weeks & Buddy is shedding gifties everywhere he goes! Time to bring out the industrial vac!
giggle skeeter. I have furballs like that, bigger even. I had no idea beagles could shed that way. I guess I won’t get one for Jenn for Christmas.
Buddy is only part beagle (at least I think he is.) He’s a poi dog (mixed breed) of, maybe, beagle and spaniel or terrier parentage. He’s got a fluffy undercoat that is not typical of beagles. Lance is a pure-bred beagle & doesn’t shed much at all. His coat is short & flat. So now you don’t have that as an excuse. Buy the girl a beagle!
I don’t think a yard sale is a bad idea. You guys just have to set an actual date. 😉
