If you had a home library to stock, would you do it this way? Have you ever been to someone’s home who had done this?

I’ve sold books to people like that…lots, you’d be amazed
You’ve sold foreign language books like that? You’re kidding, right? TW says we can’t be friends with you if you’ve done that! LOL
absolutely…bindings are really sought after…it’s a craft in and of itself and pretty interesting…not that I think those folks appreciate them for that either, but there’s a huge market…the interior isn’t always relevant especially when you’re talking about leather with special tooling and gilt work or ones with foredge paintings and stuff like that…not my thing, but interesting
LOL, TMI?
No actually, not TMI. I assume you can guess why I posted this… right?
LOL, yeah…hopefully they’ve got someone who will at least choose quality stuff….maybe they should hire me ;)?
If I had known, I’d have suggested they hire you. It’s done. Swedish.
I don’t get the point of having a library that looks but has nothing you want to read in it.
I’d love to have some leather-bound versions of some of my favourites though. I’d also like to have a house. Maybe someday.
Shoot, I wanted pictures.
One reason I bought my house is that one wall of the living room is bookshelves, with a rolling ladder.
I’m starting to have to clear out the books, though–running out of shelf space.
The “books by the yard” is somehow disgusting.
