My sister is heading to NYC for her birthday celebration so let’s do NYC cupcake toppers. Statue of Liberty Pins or buttons would be nice. Or maybe you prefer the NYC taxi experience? How about the Empire State Building? I can’t choose because I love it all – which means I’d end up with the basic I love NYC topper. Then again, I’m not a huge fan of the “I ‘heart’…” phrase so I’d probably order these instead.

Ooops I missed last Friday’s cupcake toppers, didn’t I? I meant to do it and BlogHer got in the way. Ah well, this edition will make up for that. In honor of Women’s Pro Football Day (which is tomorrow) you should all get busy making cupcakes and tracking down some fabulous cupcake toppers to celebrate.
It’s impossible to find anything that represents women playing football. That’s annoying. Even worse than trying to find chicks doing martial arts or playing baseball/softball. I like these gold football charms, a little pricey unless you need a gross of them. I bet you can find them on eBay cheaper or in a smaller quantity. (I’ll give you another little tip, call around to your local trophy supply shops and ask if they have any miniature football trophy discs you can buy in bulk, I did this one year for a soccer party in Panama – very inexpensive and cool toppers.)
You can go with mini plastic helmets or the always easy to find chocolate footballs if you prefer.

Obviously today’s cupcake toppers must be Harry Potter themed. There’s nothing else happening in the world this weekend, is there? You can top your cupcakes with Bertie Botts Beans or the Golden Snitch cuff links pictured in this post (they are a bit expensive for a cupcake topper but your HP fans are worth it, aren’t they?)
There are mudblood buttons and Platform 9 3/4 buttons, and my favorite deatheater button. I could go on and on – the Cafe Press options alone could provide you with enough HP cupcake toppers for years.

Since the little kids are returning from their jaunt abroad, today’s cupcakes are “Home Sweet Home” related. I like the silver charms but they colorful house magnets remind me of post it notes and TW has a thing for post it notes. As you may remember, I hate people who say “I heart…” but I guess some people like that stuff so they would probably like these. I am a Wizard of Oz fan and like nothing better than to see TW shudder at the flying monkeys, so I’d go for There’s No Place Like Home keychains, instead.

This was suppose to be for last Friday, to celebrate Sticks’ graduation but RJ thinking took over and I saved it as draft instead. So, a week late but just as fun I bring you drums!
If you want Sesame Street characters w/drums then you’re probably going to have to buy a bunch of these and sell the extras on ebay or give them to someone in your band who plays other instruments. You might prefer drumstick keychains. I like the mini Surdo or the Timpani or look at all of these!
